The conference was held from 8 to 10 May 2026 at Pearl Continental Hotel Lahore, focusing on sectors including home appliances, electrical equipment, battery energy storage, and related manufacturing industries. The event aimed to promote communication and cooperation between Chinese and Pakistani enterprises in areas such as investment collaboration, industrial coordination, technology exchange, and localized development.

Focusing on Industrial Cooperation and Understanding the Demands of Chinese Enterprises in Pakistan

During the conference, representatives of Sunway Law held discussions with Pakistani enterprises and professional service providers on topics including market entry, local partnerships, manufacturing setup, engineering support, compliance requirements, and project implementation.

The exchanges showed strong local interest in China’s supply chain capabilities, manufacturing resources, and technology products. In addition to sectors such as home appliances, electrical equipment, and battery energy storage, cooperation discussions also covered electric mobility, manufacturing support, energy solutions, and localized production.

For Chinese companies, Pakistan offers both market opportunities and practical challenges. Through this visit, Sunway Law aimed to further understand the local business environment and project needs, in order to provide more practical support for Chinese enterprises exploring cooperation opportunities in Pakistan.

Signing Framework Cooperation Memorandums to Strengthen Local Collaboration Resources

During the conference, Sunway Law signed framework MOUs with relevant parties regarding project coordination, and local professional support for Chinese companies in Pakistan, establishing a foundation for future cooperation and project coordination.

These framework arrangements mainly focus on future communication, information exchange, local professional support, and exploration of cooperation opportunities.

Through this visit, Sunway Law further expanded its network of local enterprises, engineering consultants, professional service providers, and project resources in Pakistan, providing stronger support for future China-Pakistan industrial cooperation, market research, partner selection, transaction structuring, and legal compliance coordination.

Continuing to Expand Overseas Service Networks Through Legal Expertise

Sunway Law’s visit to Pakistan forms part of the firm’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its overseas service network. As more Chinese companies explore opportunities in South Asia, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, outbound services are increasingly extending beyond traditional legal document review into earlier-stage support, including market assessment, partner identification, transaction structuring, compliance risk management, and local resource coordination.

Going forward, Sunway Law will continue to build local collaboration networks by connecting with local law firms, professional service providers, industry resources, and project partners across key countries and sectors. For Chinese companies interested in entering Pakistan and the broader South Asian market, the firm will continue to provide support in areas such as market entry, preliminary partner due diligence, transaction documentation, compliance risk analysis, and cross-border project coordination.

Sunway Law will also continue following up on the connections established during this conference, further strengthening local cooperation resources in Pakistan and supporting Chinese enterprises with more practical and executable legal and business solutions for South Asia and the Middle East.
