During the conference, Sunway Law engaged with participating institutions, companies, and professional service providers regarding practical cooperation opportunities between Chinese and Pakistani businesses in areas including information and communication technology, new energy transportation, battery energy storage, industrial supply chains, and localized cooperation.

During the conference, Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif delivered a keynote address, while Liu Jie, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and Governor of Zhejiang Province, attended the event and delivered remarks. Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar delivered the welcome address, while speeches were also delivered by Ambassador of Pakistan to China Khalil Hashmi, Minister for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja, and Haroon Akhtar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Industries and Production among other distinguished guests. During the event, a strategic business MoU signing ceremony was held, highlighting the growing momentum of practical economic and trade cooperation between China and Pakistan.
The conference forms part of the broader Pakistan–China B2B investment initiative, which aims to establish more direct and practical communication channels between companies from both countries. Through business matchmaking, thematic discussions, and follow-up coordination mechanisms, the conference sought to promote more practical and executable cooperation opportunities in areas including technology collaboration, industrial coordination, and commercial cooperation.
Focusing on Business Needs and Exploring Cooperation Opportunities in New-Energy Mobility and Energy Storage
From the discussions held during the conference, new energy transportation, battery energy storage, and related industrial supply chains and supporting sectors emerged as key areas of interest. A number of Pakistani companies explored potential cooperation opportunities involving electric two and three-wheelers, light electric vehicles, commercial vehicles, battery packs, BESS, charging and battery-swapping infrastructure, local assembly, key components, and production line development. The discussions reflected growing market interest in China’s new energy technologies, manufacturing capabilities, and supply chain resources.


During the conference, representatives of Sunway Law engaged with participating parties on practical cooperation scenarios commonly encountered by Chinese companies expanding overseas.
